Christmas Eve Eve 2006!

Since we are having Christmas Eve and Day in Sacramento, we decided to celebrate Christmas Eve Eve at my parents home, prior to us departing up north. We came over early in the day and had a field day wrapping presents together.
Then we took some pre-dinner pictures in front of the tree, I just love my mom's cute trees!

We were so lucky to have such great weather this year so we decided to take a stroll around Montage... it was breath-taking!

After our stroll, we went to the lobby to have tea and cookies and listened to the pianist play Christmas carols... so very Christmasy and a tradition we will uphold each year!

After our outing, we came home to prepare my mom's traditional Czech Christmas meal... I look forward to this every year and now Ry does too!

We took lots of family pictures by the tree, as always.

We had lots of drinks so that we were Merry, as always.

And had my mom's delicious dinner of mushroom soup, breaded fish and potato salad. For dessert, we opened gifts and ate my mom's Czech cookies... the best EVER! Love our traditions and so thankful to be with our families during this time and for Ry to be HOME :)
