4th of July Weekend with the Conkle's

Another Conkle-style 4th of July! Friday night we had dinner with the Conkle's at Tradition of Pascals.. GREAT French restaurant.. highly recommend it! Saturday we boarded a Duffy for a Sunset Cruise of the Newport Harbor!

It had finally cleared up weather-wise so we definitely lucked out! We took a delicious dinner on board and enjoyed time with both families, Lindsay and Mark.

Never a shortage of food and wine with our families... it was nice to kick back and relax!

On the 4th, we laid out by the pool, the boys played basketball and frisbee and the girls made a delicious dinner... grilled halibut, roasted potatoes and veggies. We watched the fireworks from the Conkle's hotel balcony and finished off the night with my mom's homemade cake! Another happy 4th of July!
