A Strudel Date & Kelli's Baby Shower

Ry and I have making the most of our weekends living in South County! With frequent visits to our new home and lots of beach walks, we are enjoying our new area! One Saturday Steve and Ashley came over for some home-made Apple Strudel and drinks on my parents patio.

My dad even whipped out some of his Slivovice- a famous Czech plum brandy- so we all toasted... it was fun being all together!

Last Sunday Kelli's family had a baby shower for her and Jason so we all gathered to shower their new baby-to-be! Kelli's baby girl is growing... her tummy is shaping up perfectly.

We can't wait to meet the baby... only a couple more months and she will be here! It's been a fun couple of weekends... we are four weeks in and have three more to go until we move!

1st Weekend Living in Laguna Niguel!

I can't believe it's already October... time is flying by! We kicked off our first weekend living at my parents with coffee and my mom's home-made Czech dessert at Zinc in Laguna Beach. We then went to Kim & Jon's (our neighbors once again) for wine and dessert... it's so nice to be closer to our friends!

Sunday morning we met Kelli and Jason for coffee at Peet's, Kelli is finally looking pregnant and SO cute!! They are having a baby girl, I am beyond excited for the two of them.

Sunday afternoon we had an appointment with our loan officer so we got to see even more progress on our new home... our address is up!!!

The back splashes in our master bathroom as well as in the kitchen are complete and they look SO good!

Ry is ready to take a shower in his favorite part of the home!

Our granite has been placed (no it's not blue.... it has a protective cover on it!) We are counting down days until our home is complete... what an adventure this has been!
