Zinc with Jana & Taj and our New Home Walk Through!

Our last full weekend before we close escrow and move to our new home! On Saturday I met Jana and Taj for breakfast at Zinc... Taj has grown so much since I saw him last... he is precious and full of smiles :)

Jana and Taj are too cute for words, so fun to spend time with the two of them!

Saturday afternoon we had our Final Home Walk Through!! Our home looks amazing and we are so pleased with the way it turned out. It's been quite a journey to get to this point and we are so appreciative and happy.

We close escrow on Tuesday and move in on Friday... we are excited to settle in and start our new adventures in Aliso Viejo!

Halloween Weekend

We had quite a busy (but fun) Halloween weekend... we started off Friday night with dinner at Jenny and Jeremy's... it was so sweet of them to host us and it was great to catch up.

Saturday we took a day trip to Temecula for some wine tasting... we started off in Old Town and visited our favorite little spice shop where we stocked up on loose teas and spices...

We then hit up South Coast Winery for lots of tastes, they are so generous over there! We brought a picnic and enjoyed it on the patio... it was a gorgeous day.

We then transferred over to Wilson Creek, our usual dessert stop, and had our favorite Almond Joy's... port with Almond Champagne in a chocolate dessert cup... the perfect ending to lunch! We visited a couple new wineries afterwards, Temecula is such a great little get-a-way.

Sunday after a long beach walk, Ry and I got a pumpkin and Halloween candy... Ry decorated our pumpkin and I of course roasted the pumpkin seeds...

We started off with Apple Cider Martini's and cinnamon pumpkin seeds, followed off by my traditional Scallop Corn Chowder with corn bread and we ended with my mom's apple cranberry cake... delicious!

We ended up getting quite a few Trick-or-Treaters... all so cute and polite! Love how Halloween gets you in the spirit for the holidays... can't wait to have the holidays in our new home :)
