Our first skiing adventure all together! In honor of my mom's birthday as well as the freshly packed snow, we decided to go check out the new Lake Arrowhead Resort for the weekend. We drove up early Saturday morning and checked into our beautiful rooms, the remodel was stunning and we were so happy to discover this little gem! We explored the hotel and went for a walk around the cute town, the air was so fresh and brisk. After our walk, we headed back to the hotel and used the spa for the afternoon. The perfect way to unwind. That night, we celebrated my mom's birthday at Bin89... we had a delicious celebratory dinner and lots of vino :) 
Sunday we woke up early to go skiing! I haven't skiied in a LONG time so I had to get mentally ready for this
On our way to Arrowhead, we stopped along the road to admire this beautiful view.
Once we arrived to the Snow Summit, we ewnted ski's and hit the slopes! Of course the guys were MUCH faster so they hit the big-kid slopes and my mom and I stuck with the bunny slopes.
It was the perfect day for skiing, we had a blast re-living old times when we used to ski as kids! What a perfect winter get-a-way... we had the best time celebrating my mom and taking a mini-vacation... we will definitely be coming back here once a year!
