A Thanksgiving all to ourselves!! Since we have a couple days off we decided to take a little trip to
Sedona this year for some R&R as well as the perfect fall experience. We flew into Phoenix, rented a car and headed a couple hours north to the adorable red-rock town of
Sedona. We checked into
L'Auberge Sedona, the perfect cozy place with fireplaces everywhere. On Thanksgiving day, we walked around the quaint town and explored all the fun shops. Then we went back to our room to get ready for our Thanksgiving feast at the hotel.

We had a delicious 5 course Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings- all very gourmet and beautiful. We were very impressed! We had such a fun time sitting by the creek and enjoying our wine and meals... best part about it, we didn't have to lift a finger or do any dishes.. my kind of Thanksgiving!

The following morning we got up early to hike the beautiful red rocks... it was very cold at first but then it warmed up. We enjoyed our coffees while taking in the amazing nature all around us.

After exercising, it was time to pack up and head back towards Phoenix. On our way back, we stopped at the
Tlaquepaque shops for a nice lunch and look around the shops. Everything is so quaint and charming. After lunch, we headed into Phoenix and we were scheduled to stay at The Standard however when we arrived, it was under construction and we were not impressed whatsoever! So thankfully Southwest had a flight that evening and we ended up cutting our trip a bit short. Regardless, we had the best time in
Sedona and wish we had just stayed there both nights! Next time we will know what to do
haha. One of my favorite Thanksgiving's yet, so fun to getaway for a bit.
