After several bad storms in the beginning of January, the final completion of our backyard was delayed but it's now safe to say that we are almost there! It's been quite a process from start to finish but with a couple more kinks to iron out, it should end up looking just how we had envisioned. Who knew that such a simple backyard design would take so much effort! We decided to take advantage of the nice weather this weekend and take our lunch outside for the first time!
We did half pavers and half artificial grass because we wanted as LOW maintenance as possible... so here we are picnicking on our fake grass... hilarious, right?!
Saturday night Ry and Steve drove up to LA Staples Center for the Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors Game.... apparently they had great seats and saw all the action up close!
While the boys were preoccupied with basketball, Ashley came over to my place for some girl time. We went for a walk, drank and bottle of champagne and had dinner and dessert together... I would say the perfect way to kill a night!
Sunday we went to visit Kelli and Jason AND baby Sabrina! We were honored to have met Sabrina two hours after Kelli delivered her on Monday, January 10th and since then, she had already grown 4 ounces!
Sabrina is so precious and we are so happy for Kelli and Jason, they are doing such a great job as new parents!
