Day Trip to Temecula with my Parents

This weekend we took a little road trip to Temecula for some shopping and wine tasting! This is our favorite time to go, you really can feel Fall in the air. My parents came along, which was so fun.

We started off in Old Town Temecula and visited all the cute little culinary shops. We got spices and tea from the Spice Merchants and fresh basil and cilantro from the herb market.

Last stop (before hitting up the vineyards) was the Temecula Olive Oil Company, where we bought a fresh out-of-the-oven baguette and tasted all their olive oils and vinegars... so delicious!

After all of our shopping, we went to South Coast winery. We got a table on the patio and tasted away! We brought a great picnic and enjoyed it on the patio as well- nothing like dining al fresco!

After lunch, we went to a couple other wineries and then ended at Wilson Creek for their Almond Joy... a hazelnut liquor served in a chocolate shot glass topped off with Almond Champagne- our favorite and a must have when you go to Temecula! What a great day and way to spend kicking-off fall time!
