So Ry and I had this great idea to rent jet skies in Newport Beach and ski out into the ocean. We got all packed up and ready, rented the jet ski, got all excited for our adventure, took pictures...
It took us 20 minutes to jet ski out of the harbor (going 5mph) and once we FINALLY got to the ocean, it was so unbelievably choppy and overcast that we couldn't stand to jet ski even one minute! It was such a bummer, we had to go back and thankfully we got credit to come back when the weather is nicer so, stay tuned for our next (hopefully more eventful) jet skiing adventure!
Saturday night we went over to Jason and Kelli's for an end-of-the-summer BBQ. We grilled steak, shrimp, and veggies and sipped on some great wine.
Our gourmet BBQ was delicious and Kelli made us homemade Apple Pie with homemade vanilla ice cream- what a treat! A big thanks to Jason and Kelli, we had a great time!
