We decided to combine a little weekend getaway with visiting friends as well! We drove up to the Four Seasons in
Westlake Saturday morning and checked into one of our favorite resorts.
We spent the day lounging by the pool and resting in the spa, it was a much needed relaxing day. In the evening we got ready and met Laura and Tony at Nine Restaurant in
Westlake, a very hip spot where we had fun catching up on life and lost time!
On Sunday we woke up and went straight to our favorite old
Peet's, it's so great visiting our old stomping ground.
Afterwards we went back to the hotel and relaxed some more before having to check-out.
It was the perfect little weekend getaway spot... we will definitely be coming back here at least once a year!
On our way back home, we stopped off at Laura's apartment and visited Aurelia for the first time since we saw her at the hospital... she was so little and precious and it was neat seeing Laura being such a good mom.
But what I loved most is seeing Ry with Aurelia, he is a natural with babies and it's so comforting to see that! It was great seeing my favorite Laura's and along with a mini vacation, must do again soon.
