Alaska Cruise

For Paw Paw's 90th Birthday celebration... he invited the entire Clay family on a cruise to Alaska! What a generous grandpa he is to us and we were honored to celebrate his HUGE milestone! We boarded the Princess Ship in Seattle and embarked up north to Juneau, Alaska. While at sea, we enjoyed catching up with the extended family and enjoying meal times together.
We were taken away by the stunning views of Alaska's scenery from the ship, what a beautiful and serene part of the world.

In Juneau, we all took part in the excursion to see the Medenhall Glacier... we all put on waterproof gear and paddled our canoe right up to the amazing glacier...

What a surreal experience that we will never forget!

After Juneau, we headed down to Skagway, a charming little town where we walked around and I picked out a cute reindeer ornament for our Christmas Tree.

From Skagway, we headed down to Tracy Arm Fjord, where we woke up to breathtaking views of the fjords and icy glaciers all around us.

Our last stop was Ketchican, where we took a hiking/rafting excursion... we hiked around the Alaskan forest, soaked up the freshest oxygen on the planet, and then rafted down a beautiful river. At night, we dressed up and had fun catching up with the family about our exciting adventures over nice dinner and then watched karaoke shows and comedians perform. Thank you Paw Paw for inviting us on this special cruise, we love you so much and are so glad to spend time with you!!
