To help time away from Ry go by faster, Laura invited me to Palm Desert to stay in her new apartment and hang out... nothing better than a girls weekend! Saturday we walked around all the shops at Paseo and then had a nice lunch at an Italian restaurant... we reminisced of our time in Europe together! Then later that night we got ready and shared a bottle of wine and a delicious dinner together and then went and saw a viewing of a film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. It ended up being a great film and it was so cool to participate in something like that... we had to give our opinion on the film and some of the cast was there!
After a late night of hanging out and talking, we woke up Sunday and went to Norma's at the Parker Resort for the yummiest brunch on their sun-drenched patio. We had mimosa's and relaxed in their garden... so zen!
After The Parker, we went to The River at Rancho Mirage and walked around the shops on the water, it was such a beautiful day!
Before heading back home, we noticed a Mexican Restaurant on the River was having a Happy Hour that we couldn't resist so we toasted with some strong margarita's before saying good-bye! We always have the best time together and I am so thankful for my girl!
