Since Oklahoma University was playing UCLA on Saturday, the Conkle's came out for the weekend to take us to the game! They flew in Friday and we went to L'Orange in LA for dinner... Ry and I love this restaurant because he took me here on a couple dates back when he was courting me :) We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed catching up. 
Saturday morning we got on our red OU gear and headed out to the Pasadena Rose Bowl to watch the game... although OU lost, it was still fun to watch all the excitement. Since the sun was so strong, Cliff went to buy me a me a visor.. only one problem.. they were out of OU visors so he had to get me a UCLA visor... so picture me next to all these fanatic OU fans wearing a UCLA visor.. it was NOT good! 
After surviving my OU embarrassment, we went to Table8 for dinner. We had heard so many great things about the chef and he didn't disappoint, we even got to see him from a distance!
Sunday we took Cliff and Marty down to Santa Monica and we had brunch at One Pico at The Shutters Hotel... we had mimosas, bloody mary's and a delicious brunch... perfect way to start off the morning :) Afterwards we walked around and admired the blue ocean before they had to depart back for their flight. It was a jam-packed FUN weekend and now it's back to WORK... boooo!
